There are 150 green houses in Gujarat currently and the future looks bright! With the subsidy provided by Indian Government which is 25% on Greenhouse projects, Government of Gujarat claims to put the foot forward with additional subsidies to the greenhouses to encourage the cultivation of exotic fruits, flowers and vegetables in Gujarat.
India having a really small share (one per cent) out of $7,400 million fresh floriculture trade globally. Gujarat is intending to encourage more than 1000 greenhouses in order to become one of the leading providers in the industry.
